Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Germany. For consumers within the European Union, mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of residence may also apply.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also be entitled to submit disputes to the Online Dispute Resolution platform provided by the European Commission at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

This service is provided by LudoMagus GmbH, located at Rudolfstraße 5A, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany.

Scope

These terms govern the purchase and use of the Smart Invoice Downloader desktop application.

License Agreement

By purchasing Smart Invoice Downloader, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license enabling installation on up to 3 personal devices for legitimate business purposes, including invoice management from authorized Stripe accounts.

Restrictions

When using Smart Invoice Downloader, you agree not to:

  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Access unauthorized accounts or data
  • Use the software for any illegal purposes
  • Remove or alter proprietary notices

Pricing and Payment

Smart Invoice Downloader is available as a one-time purchase. Prices are subject to change for future transactions, but existing purchases are honored at the original price.

Right of Withdrawal

Per German law (§ 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 9 BGB), the right of withdrawal for digital content expires upon delivery with prior consent. We voluntarily offer a 30-day money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the software within this timeframe.

To request a refund, please contact us at support@ludomagus.com within 30 days of your purchase.

Updates and Support

Your purchase includes one year of complimentary software updates and email support. After this period, the software remains fully functional. Extended support and updates may be available as a separate purchase.

Warranty and Liability

Warranty and liability are governed by German statutory requirements. Liability is limited except for intentional acts, gross negligence, or personal injury claims.

Data Protection

Smart Invoice Downloader processes all data locally on your device. Your invoices are downloaded directly from Stripe to your computer and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Third-Party Services

Smart Invoice Downloader integrates with the Stripe API. Your use of Stripe is governed by Stripe’s own terms of service. We are not affiliated with Stripe and disclaim responsibility for Stripe’s services or practices.

Termination

Your license is perpetual but may be terminated upon violation of these terms, requiring immediate cessation of use and destruction of all copies.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

Changes to Terms

Modifications to these terms apply only to new purchases. Your existing agreement remains unchanged.
